Ball Mill Test Run Requirements

Inspection before test run:

(1) The workshop and surroundings around the equipment should be clean;

(2) Check whether there is subsidence or cracks on the foundation;

(3) Check the foundation bolts and bearing bolts to make sure they are tightened;

(4) Clean up the main bearing and transmission bearing and fill with enough lubricating oil;

(5) Inspect the water cooling device of the main bearing to ensure it is unimpeded and without leaking.

Test run process and cautions:

(1) Before starting the motor, manually grind the mill for 2 to 3 times to check if there is any obstacles. Ensure the rotating direction is correct by the small gear driving the big gear upward and then boot the motor.

(2) After starting up, check the vibration condition of the main bearing and transmission bearing, together with the gear meshing sound, etc.;

(3) Conduct temperature inspection on main bearing and transmission bearing every 10 mins;

(4) Check and remedy the fastening situation of the bolts.
