The Preparation Work before Installing a Hammer Mill

As hammer mill has vibration with a certain frequency and strength in the normal using process, customers should install it strictly according to the foundation drawing provided by the manufacturer to avoid other problems. To save trouble, some customers directly place a hammer mill crusher on the precast slab, with a couple of exposed rebar head to be welded with the baseplate of hammer mill crusher, which is just self-deceiving, and it will be too late if anything happens. If precast slab must be used, customers should increase the safety coefficient and specially customize the precast slab after careful calculation according to the parameter features of hammering machine.

1. When installing it, pay attention to align the belt pulley of motor and belt of hammer crusher machine, and the tightness should be appropriate. In addition, the working environment should be dry and have adequate ventilation and the motor should be protected from the corrosion of rain, snow and dust. What is more, there should be such protective facilities such as protective cover and overload protector to ensure the safety of the equipment and the personnel.

2. When necessary and the place is allowable, a hammer mill crusher should be equipped with a feeder machine to ensure the evenness and continuity of material feeding and avoid fierce vibration of the machine due to one-side feeding, uneven feeding, too much temperature rise of one or two side of bearing or overload of motor.

3. A device used for removing foreign matters must be equipped with hammer crusher to prevent harmful materials from going into the crushing chamber, such as iron and other hard materials, because they will cause damage to the grate bar and hammers after going into the crusher; and soft materials with a certain tenacity such as plastic cloth should not be allowed into the crushing chamber either because they will block the grate bar, twine the rotor and influence the crushing effect after going into the crusher machine.
