Performance Features of Internal Cylinder Magnetic Separator

Internal cylinder magnetic separator has been successfully researched and manufactured and it is widely used for removing the iron magnetic materials mixed in abrasive materials, ceramics, refractory, glass, cement and food as well as for the magnetic separation of manganese, iron and copper.

Internal cylinder magnetic separator is mainly composed of feeding device, magnetic system, scrap board, material receiving chute, riding wheel, electric motor, turbine reducer and frame. The performance features of internal cylinder magnetic separator are listed in the following:

1. It adopts thin-wall cylinder which is tightly pressed on the surface of the permanent magnetic system. The internal surface of the cylinder is the working surface of the magnetic separation. The constant rolling of the materials inside the cylinder makes the materials and the internal surface of the cylinder with the strongest magnetism fully contact, thus significantly improving the magnetic separation effect.

2. The magnetic system design makes the magnetic induction intensity of the internal surface of the cylinder have the feature of high gradient, which significantly increases the separation ability of materials with weak magnetism.

3. It adopts permanent magnetic system, with low working cost, simple structure and reliable and safe working condition.

4. The movement of the materials inside the cylinder is spiral, so that the staying time in the magnetic separation working zone is long and the pendulum times is high, thus improving the separation effect. In addition, on the premise of ensure the separation effect, we can increase the dip angle of the whole machine and increase the feeding amount to improve the processing capacity of magnetic drum separator.

5. The working process is continuous, for this reason, as for the materials with different properties; as long as the machine is properly chosen, it can satisfy the separation requirement one time.
